About me and my Equipment
I’ve started taking photos back in 1974 (when I’ve been 7 years old) with an Agfa “Syncro Box” taking pics with negatives of 6x7cm (very simple means), I continued with an Agfa (don’t remember the type) taking 6x6 negatives…

Following that lost the track somehow and took photos with “pocket cameras” – sorry!

When I went 16 my stongest whish was a Reflex camera – and I started with a Minolta XG-M – to enter the real world of photography.

After several years with good results of my XG-M, I had the chance to reach a better one X-700 – in those days a dream of a small format camera – quite perfect – owned several lenses and bodies !

Like life never goes straight, all my semi-professional equipment got stolen in Barcelona in 1999.

After my equipment been stolen, I fell like “god doesn’t want me to photograph”. I paused some years.

Than, my favorite X-700 was quite “cheaper” and I could aford buying a new equipment. I took some wonderful shots during sessions in those days!

When the digital time entered I thought of a change…

I sold all my equipment for almost nothing to buy a digital camera – what a loss!!!

So, when I’ve figured out that the fist generation digital cameras could not even deliver the quality of of small format negative, I’ve been quite upset with that technology and bought myself something “real” and advanced.

A Bonica ETRSi with some good lenses – and please don’t ask what I’ve paid for that…

I’ve used that equipment till the end of the availability of Roll-Films…

I still have all my 4.5x6 equipment.

Due to fact that this is outdated in means of getting films or getting chemicals to develop it, I went for something “good” in the digital world…I bought a Cannon 5D mkII in 2011 – with a set of a few good lenses and flashes (10K – no prob), this is a quite good equipment.

All in all I think I could have bought a small house on all that photo stuff… If that would have been more satisfying, I can’t tell….
